LetTutor's Teaching Program

General

This section will give you an overview of our teaching program, curriculum, learning scale, and the learning time equivalent to each level.

1. Scale

We assessed our students based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) scale which begins from level A1 and ends with level C2. Basic English users are those whose level range from A1 to A2. People whose level range from B1 to B2 are Independent users and C1 to C2 are Proficient users.

• Level A1: This level is equivalent to the Starters and Movers level of the CAMBRIDGE test. The CEFR scale separates this level into two small levels which are Pre A1 and A1.

• Level A2: This level is equivalent to the Flyers and KET level of the CAMBRIDGE test. The CEFR scale separates this level into two small levels which are Pre A2 and A2.

• Level B1: This level is equivalent to the PET level of the CAMBRIDGE test. People at this level can score 57 - 86 on the TOEFL iBT test, 4 - 5 on the IELTS test, and 350 - 550 on the TOEIC test.

• Level B2: This level is equivalent to the FCE level of the CAMBRIDGE test. People at this level can score 87 - 109 on the TOEFL iBT test, 5 - 6.5 on the IELTS test, and 750 - 880 on the TOEIC test.

• Level C1: This level is equivalent to the CAE level of the CAMBRIDGE test. People at this level can score 110 - 120 on the TOEFL iBT test, 7 - 8 on the IELTS test, and 880 - 950 on the TOEIC test.

• Level C2: This level is equivalent to the CPE level of the CAMBRIDGE test. People at this level can score 8 - 9 on the IELTS test, and 950+ on the TOEIC test.

2. Learning Time

At LetTutor, we are offering 120 hours for each level, starting from Lower A1 to Upper A2. Especially, we also offer A0 level classes for kindergarten students with a learning time of 60 hours.

LetTutor - Classic

LetTutor - Classic is a program made by us which aims at people who wants to pursue a comprehensive English learning program. People who follow the Classic program mostly want to develop all 4 English skills, which are Speaking, Writing, Listening, and Reading. This program starts from the Elementary level and ends with the Proficiency level, which is equivalent to A1 and C2 levels, respectively.

LetTutor - Daily Conversation

LetTutor - Daily Conversation is a program aimed at people who wants to improve their speaking skills by learning vocabulary, phrases, and sentences that help them to communicate in daily scenarios. This program starts from Pre Intermediate level and ends with the Advanced level, which is equivalent to A2 and C1, respectively.

LetTutor - Business

LetTutor - Business is a program aims at people who want to learn English for working purposes. This program offers people the training necessary to improve their overall English ability which helps them to perform professionally and achieve their goals at work.
